Dublin West Education Support Centre (DWESC) is conveniently situated on the grounds of TU Dublin, Tallaght. Our prime location enables ease of access via major road networks and excellent public transport links with a large, free-of-charge car park.

Dublin West Education Support Centre has been a full time Education Centre since 1991. Specifically, we serve the needs of 6,000 primary and post primary teachers in West Dublin and we are an active partner within the network of Education Support Centres.

DWESC’s local course provision is extensive, providing training, development and support for teachers and the wider school and national education community through the provision of high quality, practical and engaging Continuous Professional Development and support services.

Dublin West Education Support Centre is proud to enable numerous worthwhile projects, both locally and at European level. We foster a close relationship with national support services. We are also active in the areas of Communities of Practice and in building capacity in the CPD system.

DWESC has long held a reputation for innovation and early adaption in the area of ICT and technology and we continue to be progressive in the areas of curriculum, leadership development, Creativity in the Arts, Digital Schools and the Home School Community Liaison scheme.
